Conferences
• A special conference that will mark 30 years
of the ANZGG will be held in December 2012. Prof Gerald Nanson and
colleagues are developing plans for this meeting. The intention
is to hold it in the same general region as the very first ANZGG
conference, that was based at Robertson in NSW inAugust 1982. At
that meeting, Joe Jennings was the guest speaker.
• The 15th Biennial Conference of the ANZGG
was held in Oamaru, South Island, New Zealand, from 31st January
to 4th February 2011. This was wonderfully organised by Dr David
Kennedy and colleagues.
• Details of previous ANZGG conferences may
be found here.
• The ANZGG hosted the Seventh International
Conference on Geomorphology for the International Association of
Geomorphologists.. This meetng was held in Melbourne in July 2009.
