This is because the ANZGG, in turn, will not be able to get a refund for expenses incurred on your behalf after this date. Registrations can be transferred to another delegate at any time. The Conference Organising Committee reserves the right to grant a refund in extraordinary circumstances.
Conference dinner
The conference dinner will be held on the evening of Thursday the 29th of September 2022. Dining will be al fresco and there will be stunning views of a centralian sunset over the McDonnell Ranges. Brad Pillans has also promised another ANZGG Conference Dinner Quiz – so what more could you want? A great price? Yes, we can give you that. The meal, including a limited drinks service, will be $30.00 AUD per head for conference registrants. The dinner is $85 for guests.
Mid-conference fieldtrip
The Mid-conference fieldtrip to Palm Valley on Wednesday 28 September 2022 is included in the registration fee for all delegates. Bus transport will be provided for this day trip, as well as a packed lunch.
Post-conference fieldtrip
This 5-day fieldtrip will depart Alice Springs on Saturday 1 October 2022 and return to Alice Springs on Wednesday 5 October 2022 (5 days).
The trip will be led by Prof Bob Wasson, with the assistance of number of ANZGG luminaries, and will focus on evidence for the episodic nature of fluvial systems. Participants will visit the Ross River Gorge and the Simpson Desert.
The trip is fully catered (all meals, swags for overnight camping, etc). Places are limited, owing to the need to use small 4WD buses. It is anticipated that the cost will be $1200 per person.
Expressions of interest will be processed in order of receipt, and payment sought once the available places have been allocated.
If you are interested in joining the post-conference fieldtrip, we urge you to register your interest as soon as possible by indicating below. We can only reserve places for people who have already registered for the conference.
We offer two options for payment of registration fees.
(1) Payment by Direct Debit to the ANZGG
(2) Payment using our online credit card facility.
Please note that option (2), the credit card payment, attracts a surcharge of 1.7% which is the cost to the ANZGG of offering this facility via the eWay secure online payment system.
